Dave Wretschko had successfully led his popular Cleveland-Style orchestra for 24 consecutive years. Starting in 1966 as the Rivieras and participating in the first Polka Band of Tomorrow contest in 1968, the Wretschko Orchestra carne into its own in the 1970s.
