The International Main Street Polka Band plays Slovenian & Swiss style polka music. The sound is unique, it takes the instrumentation and feel of the American Slovenian polka music and occasionally blends some Swiss Yodeling that is reminiscent of the late Roger Bright and Frankie Yankovic styles. The band is always a hit at their live performances and can be heard live several times throughout the year. The International Main Street Polka Band was the idea of Denny Anderson. The band members had played internationally, they had played on mainstreet in New Glarus, Wisconsin for their polka fest for many years with the Roger Bright Band and they all played polka music, so The International Main Street Polka Band was born.
