Tom Fudala from Richmond, Virginia, is a nationally known star of Cleveland-Style
polkas and waltzes. He continues to play professionally, full-time, throughout the
Mid-Atlantic and Southern states. Tom has been playing accordion, with vocals, professionally
since the mid 1950's. He is known as a strolling soloist at many parties, clubs,
festivals, picnics, dances, restaurants, receptions, bars & taverns, tours & cruises
throughout the years. For a number of years he was on the road with the late Frankie
Yankovic. Tom's music was featured in the HBO movie, "Finnegan, Begin Again" starring
Mary Tyler Moore and the late Robert Preston (known for his role in The Music Man).
Tom recorded his first solo album in 1974 titled, "Good Time Polkas", which included
two original compositions. Good Time Polkas demonstrated Tom's creativity as a composer
and arranger. His best-known recording is his second album with Joey Miskulin, "Polka's,
Pretzels, and Beer." This 1977 recording included three original compositions - Andy's
Polka, Wine Barrel Polka, and I Can't Forget You Waltz.
