Zupanchick Brothers

Musician Tony Zupanchick Sr. who formerly played with Eddie and the Slovenes and Jerry Intihar brought his sons into the polka music. Tony and Joe Jr. Zupanchick feature piano accordion and button box music. Still in their teens, they are already stars in the polka world. Tony and Joe became famous as the Zupanchick Brothers at age 15 and 13. Tony and Joe brings a new sound, it’s a reminiscence of the good old polka music with the flavor of a new generation. Along with Tony and Joe are Tony Zupanchick, Sr. on drums and Larry Demetro on bass, banjo, piano and accordion. The first album release “Button Boy Polkas” demonstrates the talent of the boys. For their first album Tony and Joe selected old favorites and some new compositions, special arranged by Tony and Joe. On the second Zupanchick album the boys have selected a few previously recorded selections and some original work. On the third and fourth album Tony and Joe feature 6 piano accordion tunes and 6 button box selections. They have decided to record their most requested songs on the next album “Polka Swinging Country.” They also feature some new songs as “Polka Swing” “Laurel Waltz” “Button Time Polka” and Polkasko’s Polka” on that album.
