Dusan 'Duke' Marsic had een indrukwekkende carrière. Hij speelde saxofoon-, klarinet- en fluit, daarnaast was hij arrangeur en bandleider van jazzbands, bigbands en Slovenian en Cleveland-Style polkabands. Duke speelde o.a. met Joe Howard, Tommy Dorsey, Kenny Bass en Johnny Vadnal.
