My baby loves me

Oh, how she loves me

A little less in ev’ry way each day

My baby wants me

Pete Sokach and Eddie Habat formed the Sokach-Habat Orchestra along with Kenny Bass and Al Tercek. The band signed with Decca Records. The 1949 recording of Blue Skirt Waltz sold over 700.000 copies. After Sokach-Habat, Pete Sokach was leading his own orchestra from June 1950 through the mid-1960s.
